To: Ogilvy

What I can bring to the Ogilvy team is my multifaceted background. I was born as a creative person wanting to try all the crayons in my colorbox, which now includes fine arts, ceramics, architecture, and graphic design. I feel like I am able to bring to the table not just design itself, but an understanding of other departments of design. I come from a multicultural background where I was born in Bangkok, Thailand. With my Filipino-Thai mixed heritage, I surrounded myself in the fast moving ways of life while being inspired with the various international settings th at contributed to my heightened cultural awareness of the world. I was the product of my own environment: punk-pop kid, traditionally cultured, and street art. I was instantly infatuated with the historical architecture that this city was built upon. This drove me to developing an acuity of my urban background, allowing me to discover and appreciate many aspects of art and design.

Growing up, I drew on anything that was attainable, I drew on - even on my grandmother’s mirror which was the grand piece of furniture for the house (and yes did get in trouble for). I explored art mediums and ways of how I could create art whether it was through pen and ink, or found objects. I was always thinking of how I could manufacture a piece of my mind into the real world just by doing art and design. I still frequently explore the use of whimsical, reconstructed, abstracted elements as key components in my work. At the age of 18, I moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue my dreams of becoming a designer. I studied at Otis College of Art and Design in the Spring of 2014 and after three and a half years I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture / Landscape / Interior Design in 2017. To further my education and to grow myself as a matured designer, my interests grew into graphic design where I developed my skills of visual design at Santa Monica College in 2019 to 2022.

Thank you for taking the time to read me,
